Most frequent questions considering a wedding in Santorini
What are the best means of transportation to get around the island on the wedding day?
We strongly advise our couples and their guests to use a transportation company for a variety of reasons. Weddings and celebratory events usually call for drinking. Driving under the influence is not only extremely dangerous, but also illegal in Greece. Furthermore, the narrow streets of Santorini, in combination with the frequent lack of street lights on the island add to those dangers. Transfer companies offer lower prices than regular taxis. Don’t worry, we’ll recommend the best!

Right before dusk! The “golden hour”, as we call it, takes place exactly before the sun goes down. Twilight offers the most gorgeous color palette, with the Santorinian sunset famously ranking at the top around the world.
What’s the best time for the first dance?
The most suitable time on a wedding day to have your first dance is the “blue hour”. Those are the minutes right after the sun goes down, before the night sets. With hues of rich blue and shades of dreamy purple in the background, an unforgettable first dance is guaranteed!
